Windshield Adapter Kit
The new Honda XL700V Transalp is universally recognised as a superb all round machine but does need major improvement in a significant area - Wind / Weather protection.
This unique Adjustable Windshield Mounting Kit will transform the bike's touring and cruising ability by repositioning the screen to an optimum location.
This Kit will let you improve the standard screen's performance or we have three of our own designs should you need more protection from the elements and ultimate performance - details in the Universal Parts section.
A Universal Screen will require special brackets to suit the adapter kit but if you order both at the same time, you will automatically receive the correct parts.
The big advantage of this Mounting Kit, over other options, is that it repositions the screen further forward as well as higher to make the screen more effective without the need for a large screen positioned closer to the rider.

This Accessory Bar is designed to fit onto the Windshield Adapter Kit and can easily be retro-fitted at a later date.
It allows you to position your GPS/Phone/Accessory in the ideal position with minimum distraction from your view ahead.
Made from 1/2" or 3/4" Diameter Stainless Steel and suitable for tool-less adjusters or standard.

Cross Bar
This 1/2" Stainless Steel Cross Bar is ideal for mounting various accessories and available in either standard or Black Powder-Coated finishes.
Quick and simple to install and comes with stainless Steel hardware and rubber-lined P-Clips to prevent handle-bar damage.
Dimensions are 300mm between hole centres.

Fender Extender
Made from Precision Cut, High Quality, durable, flexible, 3mm Polyurethane as used for the best Rally Car Mudflaps. It will provide up to 75mm extension to the fender / mudguard. .
An Absolute Must-Have to help keep your bike in optimum condition!
It is designed to attach to either end of a Front Fender and/or Rear Hugger to significantly reduce the amount of corrosive road and track dirt being kicked up onto the bike. It will also reduces stone damage, limiting corrosion even further.
For secure fitting, it is best to use the supplied fasteners which means drilling two 4mm holes in the fender (a further optional 2 fittings can be accomodated for ultimate security.
The part also has an integrated design feature that allows you adjust it's angle - essential for attaching to the front of a fender to follow the profile of the tyre and not interfere with air flow to the engine.
The kit includes Stainless Steel Fasteners and Allen Key - or you can use suitable adhesive or double-sided pads/tape.

Overall dimensions are 145mm wide x 135mm long.
Please note, your mudguard / fender needs at least a 10mm clearance to the tyre to accomodate this extension piece.
You will also need a 4mm drill bit - - see Accessories section.
